Sieving Coefficient Article: This article is weak because while it does provide an accurate definition of the sieving coefficient, it fails to provide example calculations or potential areas where the sieving coefficient may be encountered. The article also fails to mention related factors such as the rejection coefficient or how factors such as flow rate (Q) and particle size / pore size can relate to the sieving coefficient. A sample filtration problem would also have been useful. A positive aspect of the article is that it identifies an alternative definition and explains its relevance.

You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forums is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals.
