Welcome Page

Welcome to the Citizendium! We hope you will contribute boldly and well. Here are pointers for a quick start. You'll probably want to know how to get started as an author. Just look at CZ:Getting Started for other helpful "startup" links, and CZ:Home for the top menu of community pages. Be sure to stay abreast of events via the Citizendium-L (broadcast) mailing list (do join!) and the blog. Please also join the workgroup mailing list(s) that concern your particular interests. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forums is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any constable for help, too. Me, for instance! Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun! Hayford Peirce 17:24, 10 July 2010 (UTC)

Welcome!

(Not auto-generated) After looking at your site, you definitely could contribute to Search engine optimization. In that article, the issues of writing and translation, I discover, are buried under the Google subheading. You articulate those issues very nicely.

Welcome, part deux

Hi, and welcome to CZ.

Louise said: Lulu is taking CIS-700 at Penn this summer and looks forward to the challenge of authoring articles on Citizendium! [emphasis added]

It'll be that, all right. You can expect a baptism by fire, especially if you start with such topics as embryo adoption. People will insist that your language and style be encyclopaedic, and you can expect folks to jump in and start editing right away. Hang in there! Aleta Curry 23:32, 2 August 2010 (UTC)
