:Welcome aboard, Thomas, we could certainly use some lit'ry-type people here!  Particularly those from Lafayette!  Maybe you could contribute some stuff about [[Dave Robichaud]] and [[James Lee Burke]].  And/or Cajun food!  I used to visit Lafayette a lot in years past and always enjoyed the place.  For Christmas this year I ordered a turducken, a lot of crawfish pies, and five pounds of crawfish etouffee from some supplier in Lafayette and all my guests had a wonderful time discovering these new treats.
