I am currently a student at the University of Pennsylvania, working toward my Masters degree in Computer in Information Technology. This summer I am taking the course CIS 700 section 920, Summer II, ("Special Topics: Emerging Technologies"). As such I am being required to author in Eduzendium in the Computers Workgroup. We will be working on unlocked articles relating to various emerging software technologies. The course syllabus is at http://alliance.seas.upenn.edu/~cis700/index2.html (redirected to http://harbormist.com/cis700_08/ ).
I graduated from Emory University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in biology and a minor in Women's Studies. Since my time at Emory I have had the opportunity to work in numerous fields from genetics research, to non-profit advocacy and program management to education. Most notably, for two years I worked for an anti-hunger non-profit, aiding in the administration of State and Federal feeding programs, before deciding to return to school.
