I am a PhD student in modern Canadian History at the University of Ottawa and have just been appointed to a lecturer's position in journalism at Concordia University (Montreal). I've also written eight non-fiction books, one of which was published by the University of Michiagn Press. The rest were published by commercial houses in Canada. My theses were on the role of journalists in Canada's ban of cannabis, and on the press censorship system in Canada in World War II.
