I am a 32 years old biologist with a broad specrtum of interests. I obtained a MSc degree in Biotechnology with the molecular biology specialization from the Jagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland; a PhD in medical biochemistry from the Uppsala University, Uppsala, Sweden. From 2006, I have been working as a postdoctoral fellow at the London Research University, for the Cancer Research UK. My professional interests include among others biotechnology, molecular and cellular biology, evolution and bioinformatics. Additionally, I do some programming, recently I have started to learn a Ruby language and ActionScript for use in Flash application development. In free time, I practice Aikido and hike/trekk/climb. I also enjoy taking pictures and cooking.
