Ken is a founding member of Cholabris (pronounced Ko-La-Bris) Workgroup Solutions, a company
specializing in building custom web-based services designed to facilitate online problem solving
for manufacturers and medical researchers.
His most recent projects include a current assignment developing a scalable content management system incorporating a media-rich AJAX client, a USB-based digital video control system, DVD production work-flow systems, and medical device development. His company also recently completed an SBIR Phase 1 project for the National Institutes of Health demonstrating the application of Internet technologies to integrate disparate data modalities into on-line dialog.
Ken's recent project combining Internet and electronic document technologies involved a good deal of work with the Firefox browser, an experience he decided to leverage through an upcoming O'Reilly book - "Programming Firefox - Building Rich Internet Applications With XUL'.
Ken is also a skilled public speaker, once competing in a regional humorous speech contest for Toastmasters International (and even winning a few rounds). His particular interests focus on the application of evolving technologies to foster the exchange of ideas and enhance understanding of complex issues.
