I am a university lecturer in Human Resource Management and Employment and Tax Law. I have Masters degrees in History (Cambridge) and Law (UEA) and a bachelors degree in Business Studies (Open University). I also have a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management(Nottingham Trent University). I am a Chartered member of the CIPD, a member of the Chartered Institute of Management and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. For the last four years I have been a Learning and Teaching Adviser in my University. In a long career, I have been a City banker, Secondary school teacher (I taught music - I am a keen amateur musician), Inspector of Taxes and Human Resource specialist. After my retirement from HMRC, I moved to my present post in the academic world. I am currently studying for my third Masters degree in online and distance learning. I speak several foreign languages.
