I have been a hobbyist computer programmer since grade school, recently culminating in the professional development of an online 3D interactive educational system in similar design to a MMORPG environment. Largely bored and burned out with consumer technology and seeking new challenges, I came to realize the sheer amount of unsolved challenges that exist in fields of greater consequence: medicine, energy, etc. I have returned to finish my degree, opting for a biochemistry degree. When I'm between semesters I frequently take the opportunity to educate myself prior to future classes, most recently reading organic chemistry and biochemistry textbooks in my spare time, and finding the material to be far less intimidating than I had expected. Professionally, I am a computer technician at Collin County Community College in McKinney, TX, while I finish my degree.
