Jason Scott Sadofsky (b. September 13, 1970) is an archivist, historian, documentary filmmaker, and public speaker. He is generally known as either the webmaster of TEXTFILES.COM, the director of the BBS Documentary and text adventure documentary, or as a critic of Wikipedia.

He was born in Hopewell Junction, NY, but has since lived throughout NY state and currently makes his home in Waltham, Massachusetts. He graduated from Emerson College in Boston with a degree in Mass Communications/Film.

As a public speaker, he has been pigeonholed as a critic of Wikipedia and the "Wikipedia Way", although other subjects do occasionally come to the forefront. Examples of speeches:
