My name is Evan Rohrig and I am a student at the University of Colorado at Boulder. I am pursuing a degree in Anthropology and enjoy studying the evolution of humans, where cultural and biological factors are important. To me, understanding the evolution of the human race is very important because it allows one to learn about the history of mankind and relate it to the world he lives in today. Outside of school I partake in a number of outdoor activities which include: hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, golfing, playing soccer, and backpacking. These activities allow me to enjoy mother nature and explore new places that many people may never see. Overall, I am interested in the impact humans have on their environment and hope that my education in Anthropology will allow me to better understand past cultures and ultimately gain information on the ever-changing world we live in today.
