Corey Leong is the leading technology educator, expert programmer, and visionary in the Real Estate Industry to date. He is a member of the Real Estate Educators Association and National Association of Real Estate Editors. He has spoken at the Inman Connect, ARELLO, and Real Estate Metaverse Conferences. He is the founder of the Real Estate Metaverse Conference which was the first virtual world real estate conference ever held bi-annualy in Second Life.

Corey first entered the real estate industry in 1999 as a licensed sales agent, then as a licensed real estate broker, and finally as a state licensed real estate instructor. After spending time researching and learning the intricacies of the industry especially Multiple Listing Services (MLS), he allowed all of his licenses to expire to create a needed industry solution, a level playing field for real estate buyers and sellers, an open and unrestricted MLS. This neutral platform, OpenMLS, allowed anyone to post, browse, list, and advertise thier real estate listing online, worldwide and virtually in Second Life. OpenMLS was the first open MLS in the real world and in any virtual world.

Corey is the Founder and President of Remeta, Real Estate Metaverse Association, which is the Organization for Real Estate Worlds. [tm] Remeta educates, promotes, and supports real estate standards, professionals, consumers, and businesses in Real and Virtual Worlds.

Corey earned his Bachelor's of Science in Management Information Sytems from the University of South Florida. He is also founder of the OpenMLS Real Estate Academy and formed the following real estate groups in Second Life: Real Estate Users Group, Real Estate Educators Group, Appraisers Users' Group, and the GIS Users Group in Second Life.
