I live in Chicago's Hyde Park neighborhood, having recently graduated from the University of Chicago with a Masters degree in Latin American Studies. I did my undergraduate work in Spanish and Latin American Studies at Colorado State University, graduating in 2007. In addition to my academic interests of anthropology, history, international relations, and languages (particularly Spanish and Portuguese), my personal areas of interest include music, literature, travel, art, environmentalism, and coffee shops.
