I have completed the degree requirements for a Bachelors in Psychology with minors in Anthropology, Biological Sciences, and Sociocultural Anthropology. My primary areas of interest are human behavior from a biological and evolutionary perspective to include implications for future change and social interactions.

My educational goals are the pursuit of a graduate degree in evolutionary anthropology, behavioral ecology, or research psychology.

In the meantime, I'm reading, developing research ideas, learning a little here and there about research tools like R, some of the phylogenetic software, and trying to squish the knowledge I have of statistics and modeling back in through my auditory meatus.

Historically, I've been a peacetime soldier, a medical para-professional, and a contract killer (of social insects) which has led to an ongoing interest in conflict on multiple levels including medical--specifically pathology--biological--specifically inter-species and intra-species--and human conflict on an individual, social, and cultural level. I prefer to start with a well-grounded and adaptive scientific basis for my arguments and assumptions, but I'm still willing to take personal and situational irrationality into account when talking about certain issues.
