My name is Brian Grove, born 5th October 1961 in Plymouth, England. I suffered from serious depressive illness during my early adolescence. At the age of seventeen I became a Christian. A couple of years later I lived almost a year in several Christian communities in the UK and the USA. A few years later I drifted away from that faith. I trained for two years as a nurse but after marrying my wife, Shiela, who was a nurse, I left my nurse training to run a care service providing helpers for elderly or disabled people in their own homes. In 1990 I decided I wanted to go to university so I took some open college courses which were effectively university entry courses. I then took a law degree at the University of Central Lancashire in Preston. I had previously helped as an advisor in a Advice Bureau. During this time I began a glamour photography studio.
