I was born in Caicedonia, Colombia in 04-14-1981. At the age of fifteen I moved to the U.S.A. For the last seven years I have been studying in California at several institutions; L.A. Pierce College, Peralta Colleges, Ali Akbar College of Music and Sonoma State University. My Focus has been Spanish literature, ethnomusicology & linguistics with enphasis on Indigenous languages of the Americas. I have travelled to Guatemala and Mexico where I have researched and experienced indigenous cultures.
