Alessandro Bottoni is a freelance advisor working in the Internet/Intranet and Linux fields. He lives in northern Italy and is 47 years old. Since 2004 he writes for a few well-known italian computer magazines, like "GNU Linux Magazine", "Go Online!" and "Office Magazine". In 2005 and 2006 he was in charge of the "Untrusted" column (dedicated to Trusted Computing) of "Punto Informatico", the most important computer-related online news magazine in Italy. He is the vice-president of the italian branch of the Swedish-born "Pirate Party".
