I was born June 23rd 1981 in Hamburg (Germany). Before attaining my “Abitur” in 2001, I participated in an exchange program and spent nine months in Michigan as a Highschool student. I have started my studies of Theatre, Film and Television at the University of Cologne in October 2002 after I had spent a year working and gaining practical experience in the field of journalism. Psychology and Cultural Anthropology are my subsidiary subjects. As an exchange student I studied two semesters at the Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris (2005/06). Prospectively I will acquire my Magister degree in July 2008. I have contributed an article in the anthology “Hitchcock. Der Filmverführer” (2005, edited by Nikolai Wojtko) concerning “Psycho” (USA 1960). Since 2005 I am an associate of www.einseitig.info , a German online-magazine for which I write articles on cultural subjects.
