Arthropods?

Could the authors of this article use the term "insects" if they mean insects? At one point the article suggests that the Japanese were attempting to disseminate biological agents by using arthropods and, I thought, "Gee, that's just like a people whose diet is mostly seafood to think to use shellfish as a means of dispersal." Upon reflection, it's clear that the Japanese did not intend to use crabs and lobsters as a means to distribute biological agents, despite what this article currently claims. The article should be clearer. Russell D. Jones 00:38, 27 September 2010 (UTC)

You are thinking crustaceans. Arthropods include insects and ticks, both of which were considered. Howard C. Berkowitz 03:43, 27 September 2010 (UTC)
