Needs a little more generalization; seems to be written purely from a Christian standpoint

"Scripture", in my mind, does not equate to "Bible". Do these theories apply to the New Testament alone? The Old Testament?

That doesn't quite work, given the Apocrypha are included.

In short, the lead needs to be much more general, and possibly with links to clarifying terms. Howard C. Berkowitz 12:53, 10 June 2008 (CDT)

Sounds like a good suggestion. I am totally unaware of Jewish beliefs on this issue, and the theories listed are primarily Christian ones. Generally, all but partial are applied only to the 66 book canon (Old and New Testament). Michael Yates 14:06, 10 June 2008 (CDT)
