Distinctions?

I think this needs some clarification in the area of how it is different from various other afflictions. There are a number of things that can cause many of the same symptoms -- mononucleosis or a thyroid deficiency for example. Sandy Harris 05:16, 9 September 2010 (UTC)

Sandy, I think you are calling for something that really should be part of all disease articles: a differential diagnosis section. Also, in this specific area, I believe some rheumatologists/pain management people( are putting CFS as a subset of chronic regional pain syndromes or (blanking--more coffee--diffuse pain syndromes).
