The John F. Kennedy is a fireboat that was operated by Newark, New Jersey.[1] She was launched in 1964, and was Newark's fourth fireboat. When she was profiled by the New York Times, in 1976, she was the only fireboat operating in New Jersey.

She was 47 feet long, and her top speed was 18 knots. She could project almost 6,000 gallons per minute.[1]

Much of her patrols was along the 13 miles of the Passiac River that were navigable.[1]
