Die Bilder, die wir Wikimedia als Komplettpaket 10.000 Meisterwerke zur
Verfügung gestellt haben, sind durchweg gemeinfrei - alle Künstler sind über
70 Jahre tot, entsprechend ist das Urheberrecht abgelaufen. Die Gesamtheit
der Bilder (alle 10.000 auf einmal) unterliegt als solche dem
Datenbankschutz [… ''removed:'' operational business details about the publisher …]
Auf Citizendium bezogen bedeutet dies, dass die Einzelbilder gern genutzt
werden dürfen (wie auch von allen anderen Projekten), von einer
Gesamtüberführung der Bilder in ein eigenes Commons-Äquivalent (das meines
Wissens allerdings nicht existiert) aber abzusehen ist.

All images in their entirety (the 10.000 as a whole) are subject to database protection rights

this means that you are welcome to use the single images (like those of all other projects)
[''note'': GFDL], but a complete transferral of the images [as an entire database] into a
Citizendium-owned Commons-equivalent (which to my knowledge doesn't exist)
should be refrained from.
