The city of [[Munich]] (München) is well known for its promenence in the brewing industry.  Six brewerys are located within the city limits and as such are allowed to serve beer at the world famous [[Oktoberfest]].  [[Augustinerbräu|Augustiner]], [[Hofbräu]], [[Hacker-Pschorr]], [[Spaten]], [[Löwenbräu]], and [[Paulaner]] all claim Munich as their headquarters and primary brewery.
