View of the interior of an abandoned chapel at Mission San Juan Capistrano in San Juan Capistrano (Orange County), California. Water stains extend down the walls from the roof beams. Large chunks of plaster are eroded from the walls. A stairway leads to a balcony or choir loft on the gable end wall. A piece of furniture, possibly a confessional, is placed against a side wall.
