Charles A. (Chuck) Horner (19 October 1936- ) is a retired United States Air Force]] general, best known for commanding the Coalition air forces in operations against Iraq in 1991. He retired as the four-star commander of the Air Force Space Command]].

In the 1990-1991 war, he wore several "hats": commanding general of the U.S. Ninth Air Force]] and the Air Force component commander (AFCENT) of the United States Central Command]], as well as the overall air commander for the multinational air forces. Early in the campaign planning, he listened to the air campaign plan proposal from COL John Warden III]], found good insights in it, but found he could not work personally with Warden. He did keep one of Warden's planners, then-lieutenant colonel David Deptula]], who is now the three-star head of Air Force Intelligence.
