Basel tram is a means of a public transport in the Swiss city of Basel and its surroundgs. There is also one international line, that serves French town Leymen.

The tramway in since 6 may 1895, when the first electric tramway of Basel run for the first time.

There are eleven tram lines, that are operated by two companies: Baselland Transport AG and Basler Verkehrs-Betriebe.

The most modern trams are Combino.
