Historical Society

The Eighth Judicial Circuit Historical Society is a private, not-for-profit organization organized under the laws of the State of Missouri.[1] It was created to promote awareness of the federal courts in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. The Society was formed as a non-profit Colorado corporation in 2003. It qualifies under provisions of the Internal Revenue Code as a 501(c)(3) educational and charitable organization. Its goal is to preserve the history of the federal courts of the seven states that make up the Eighth Circuit.
