My educational background includes a BA in psychology, course work in life sciences & analytical chemistry, and a MSLIS from Drexel University.

My areas of strong interest are primarily in medical informatics, especially in the areas of controlled vocabulary development, healthcare IT standards, semantics & ontology development, and metadata. I'm also an avid crafter with experience in off-loom bead-weaving and bead embroidery.
