The nominations period has now closed. Nominees may still accept or decline and draft statements.
Voting runs from June 5th to June 11th, 2016.

Nominees may accept or decline and draft their statements until the Council or Managing Editor authorises the ballot (up to June 4th, 2016).

All candidates who accept their nominations should write a statement about themselves, their beliefs, their background at Citizendium, their activities, etc. To do so, simply click on the word 'Statement' at the far right of the nomination boxes below, fill in the blank space with a statement, and click 'Save page'.

Citizendium Council nominations

For a candidate to appear on the ballot for a Council position, he or she must:

  1. Be nominated by a Citizen in good standing, including him- or herself.
  2. Be Seconded by another Citizen in good standing only if he or she is nominating him- or herself. Otherwise, a Citizen's nomination does not need to be Seconded.
  3. Formally accept the nomination.
The nominations period has now closed. Nominees may still accept or decline and draft statements.

Managing Editor nominations

For a candidate to appear on the ballot for the Managing Editor position, he or she must:

  1. Be an Editor.
  2. Be nominated by a Citizen in good standing, including him- or herself.
  3. Be Seconded by another Citizen in good standing only if he or she is nominating him- or herself. Otherwise, a Citizen's nomination does not need to be Seconded.
  4. Formally accept the nomination.
