This photo is from the back cover of "Mr. Calder & Mr. Behrens" by Michael Gilbert, a Harper & Row hardback published in 1982. The photograph is presumably copyrighted by Harper & Row and/or the photographer, but as it is a publicity photograph, it is presumably usable here under the Fair Use doctrine. I scanned it myself on 19 April 2010. It is to illustrate the subject of a Citizendium article in a way that words alone could not convey. It is believed that the use of low-resolution images of book covers to illustrate an article discussing the book in question qualifies as Fair Use under United States copyright law. Other use of this image, however, on Citizendium or elsewhere, might be considered copyright infringement.
