Total Tennis Encyclopedia says July 3rd. I just read the 1995 NYT obit in the July 5th edition and it says he died "Monday night". I checked the Windows calendar on my computer and it says that Monday in early July of 1995 was the 3rd. So I think we can say that it was almost certainly the 3rd.... If you're using Aussie sources, it may well be that it was July 4th in Aussie-land.... Hayford Peirce 16:47, 20 August 2008 (CDT)
