Mook is a village in the North of the Dutch province of Limburg. It is part of the community Mook en Middelaar that encompasses, besides the villages Mook and Middelaar, also the villages Plasmolen and Molenhoek. The total number of inhabitants of the four villages was 8,079 in November 2007. In Dutch history the village has some notoriety because of the historic battle of the Mookerheyde (battle of the Mook Heath) which was fought nearby.
