Welcome to the Citizendium pilot project! We hope you will contribute much and well. You'll probably want to know how to get started with the Citizendium pilot. Just look at the front page for other helpful "get started" links. Be sure to stay abreast of events via the Citizendium-L (broadcast) mailing list (do join!) and the blog. Again, welcome and have fun!

Spelling

I notice that you changed some spelling in the Politics of Fiji article to American English. Does Citizendium have a policy of using American English only, or does it use the same policy as Wikipedia, of using the appropriate spelling for articles relating to a particular country? I'd be grateful if you could give me a link to the policy.-Charlie Truell 22:14, 8 January 2007 (CST)

I would assume that Citizendium uses the same policy as Wikipedia here, accepting all legitimate spelling variations without discrimination. I apologize: I had thought those were typos and did not realize that they were acceptable spelling variations. I will change them back and be more careful in the future to make sure I am not just changing something to American English. Thank you for bringing that to my attention. --Ted Zellers 22:29, 12 January 2007 (CST)
