Radiant flux

Radiant flux is a term in radiometry. It is defined as the change in energy over the change in time:

$\Phi ={\frac {dQ}{dT}}$

In this case, Q refers to energy from photons (radiation energy). The units for flux are [J/sec] which is equal to [W] (watt).
