Natasha Vita-More, designer and futurist, is a pioneer of transhumanism. A lead member of the critically-minded Proactionary Principle Core Group after serving as President of futurist think-tank Extropy Institute from 2001 to 2006, she is also an advisor to several non-profit future-oriented organizations and a public voice on the consequences of accelerating technologies, the future of humanity, and sustainability. Natasha received international recognition for “Primo Posthuman,” conceptualized human 2.0, has been featured in Wired, Harper’s Bazaar, New York Times, U.S. News & World Report, Net Business, Teleopolis, Village Voice, Harper’s Bazaar, and Marie Claire, and has appeared in more than a dozen televised documentaries such as PBS, BBC, TLC and Discovery on the aesthetics of the human machine interface. Natasha’s multi-media artworks have been exhibited at Brooks Memorial Museum, London Contemporary Museum, Women In Video, Telluride Film Festival, and United States Film Festival.
