Jeremy Boxen is a Canadian filmmaker. He has been a producer or screenwriter on close to a dozen Canadian television series, and won the Gemini Award for Best Writing in a Dramatic Series in 2010.[1] The episode of the series Cra$h and Burn was entitled "Sunday Bloody Sunday".[2]
Boxen's writing credits include: Endgame, Lost Girl, Orphan Black, Killjoys, Imposters, Iron Belly and the feature films Cottage Country and 22 Chaser.[3][4][5]
In 2013, Bell Media picked Boxen and two other writer/producers to participate in their annual Showrunner Bootcamp.[6] The program is co-run by the Canadian Film Centre.
In 2014 Boxen collaborated with Jonathon Sobol on a script entitled Iron Belly, about the crew and prisoners on a prison ship transporting convicts to Australia.[4] Nicholas Tabarrok of Darius Films was to produce a 10 episode series for Bell Media and BBC America.[7]
Boxen's script for 22 Chaser won an award from the Writer's Guild of Canada in 2019, for best feature film.[8]
