Justus Brinckmann (Hamburg, 23 May, 1843 – Hamburg-Bergedorf, 8 February, 1915) was the driving force behind the founding of the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe [Museum for Art and Design] in Hamburg (Germany).
The museum building is a design of Carl Johann Christian Zimmermann and was constructed in the period 1873-1875. Justus Brinckmann was the first director of the museum and stayed in function until his death in 1915. In 1914 he was one of the signatories of the Manifesto of the 93.
