Amores perros is a 2000 Mexican film by director Alejandro González Iñárritu staring Gael García Bernal, Vanessa Bauche, Álvaro Guerrero and Emilio Echevarría. The film was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in 2001.

The movie's plot is composed of three separate stories, interconnected by an automobile accident, which egnite, turn, twist or end the three stories.

The film, Iñárritu's first full length film, was well received by critics and later allowed Iñárritu the opportunity to direct the film 21 Grams.
