Probably doesn't need disambiguation due to the second word in the title...

But "partisan" is ambiguous. Outside the political realm, it is a common term, especially in Europe, for guerilla. It's also a medieval weapon; a partisan is to a halberd is as a double-bitted (i.e., bladed) axe is to a single-bladed axe. Howard C. Berkowitz 17:43, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
