A system of alternative medicine based on the scientifically unproven premise that the body's natural healing processes can be stimulated by administering tiny, specially prepared doses of substances that, when given in large doses to healthy individuals, cause a combination of symptoms similar to those of the untreated pathological condition the method seeks to treat.
