A definition or brief description of Music psychology.

The study of how, when, where and why people engage in music and dance. Some researchers are interested in the nerves related to musical behaviours, others in the subjective or collective meaning of music making, and others in the emergence of the human capacities to start creating something that may be called 'premusics', or 'protomusics' or simply 'musics'.
