I am a resident of Berryville, Clark County, Virginia, USA. I have advanced degrees from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, the Maryland Institute College of Art and the University of Virginia.

I am currently employed in McLean, Virginia by a contractor for the Defense Adaptive Red Team, which is sponsored by the Office of the Secretary of Defense. We help to identify new military concepts and technologies, provide research and support for war-games and experiments that simulate a range of surrogate adversaries including states and terrorist groups. I am an experienced beta tester of new software and hardware. I have been a beta tester for Microsoft since the release of Windows 3.11. I am also a charter member and longtime creator of high-quality content for the Second Life virtual community, where I am a liason and leader of the oldest themed community. My interests include writing, music, painting, sculpture, architecture and history.
