Interim comment: I would prefer to serve on the Editorial Council. Nevertheless, if needed, I will consider the Management Council.

On the technical side, I have several decades of experience in software development and administration, especially in system architecture and quality control, both as an individual contributor and as a manager. I've directly administered, or managed the administrators of, a wide range of computers, certainly including LINUX/UNIX but also mainframes and minicomputers in both life-critical (medical) and death-critical (military) applications. A good deal of my work has dealt with high availability, both in the network and the servers.

In the behavioral and human dynamics area, I probably sent my first email around 1970, and have done electronic collaboration since. That experience includes pre-Wiki but demonstrably effective programs such as the Internet Engineering Task Force and North American Network Operators Group. Some of my software development used closed Wikis for project work. I know both Godwin's Law and Mike Godwin's caveats.

Should the eventual Foundation be established in the U.S., while I am no accountant, I have worked with 501(c)(3) nonprofit status.
