This help page is meant for help and guidance only. It can be edited by any Citizen and, whilst we try to ensure it is accurate, it may not fully represent current policy.

You can create links to other Citizendium pages by simply putting double square brackets around the name of the page. For example:

• To link to the Dog page you put [[Dog]] which will produce this link: Dog
• To link to the World of Warcraft page you put [[World of Warcraft]] which will produce this link: World of Warcraft

You can create a link to an external website by putting single square brackets around the URL of the website. For example:

• To link to Google page you put [http://www.google.com] which will produce this link: [1]

If you wish to make that external link have a more descriptive link, put a space after the URL and type the text of the link before the closing square bracket. For example:

• To link to Google page you put [http://www.google.com Google's homepage] which will produce this link: Google's homepage
