Research blogging

The new link to research blogging is very interesting and provocative. Although research blogging is still new and sparse, lets see what happens. Suggestion, shouldn't you should pass both the DOI and PMID linked by 'OR'? - Robert Badgett

Yes, the scarcity prevented me from implementing that earlier, but it catched on considerably over the last few years, and now it is part of the article-level metrics used over at PLoS, linked from each of their articles. As for your question, I think it's better to display them both (and also PMCID and NCT if available), since it is hard to anticipate all ways in which the information is going to be used, and no user survey is in sight. --Daniel Mietchen 07:08, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
