This is a duplicate article to Javascript. J. Noel Chiappa 10:46, 27 May 2008 (CDT)
- Sorry about that. Let's set up a redirect, or correct all the wrong links (the correction should be doable automatically, no?) --Ion Alexandru Morega 10:48, 27 May 2008 (CDT)
- Ok, changed 2 links, in HTML and The Children's Machine --Ion Alexandru Morega 10:57, 27 May 2008 (CDT)
- Yes, once the redirect is in place, one article will look like two (and everything will arrive there automatically). One question: should it be at JavaScript or Javascript? I see the Javascript web site uses both "JavaScript" and "javascript", although the latter somewhat informally. I assume the longer article at Javascript is the one to keep? If so, any content from here which you want to save for the longer article, please transplant there. If we want to move the article here, please let me and a constable deal with it, so the history doesn't get messed up. Thanks! J. Noel Chiappa 11:01, 27 May 2008 (CDT)
- You don't need to update any articles - the redirect will bring them to the right place. J. Noel Chiappa 11:02, 27 May 2008 (CDT)
- Wikipedia went with JavaScript; Mozilla uses the same spelling ([1]). Don't bother to keep my short introduction on this page, better move the Javascript page over to this one. --Ion Alexandru Morega 11:13, 27 May 2008 (CDT)
- OK, I'll get with a Constable and get this deleted to make way for the other one.
- Things will be speeded up a bit if you can replace the current contents here with {{speedydelete|duplicate article}}; since you're the creator, you can request a speedy and no questions asked. Once they've done that, I'll do the move (we have to manually move clusters at the moment, sigh). J. Noel Chiappa 11:21, 27 May 2008 (CDT)
- Umm, that was the 'article you needed to speedy! I'll move it for you. J. Noel Chiappa 12:20, 27 May 2008 (CDT)
