Explaining my revision of references

All of the references when I first looked at this article were marked in the main text using HTML (as ^number) and then simply listed manually in the References section. I therefore began to revise them to the <ref></ref> format:

• Original reference 1 → revised to <ref></ref> 1
• Original reference 2 → not found in the text, only in the listed references → moved to "Other sources"
• Original reference 3 → revised to <ref></ref> 2
• Original reference 4 → revised to <ref></ref> 3
• Original reference 5 → revised to <ref></ref> 4
• Original reference 6 → not found in the text and web link no longer available → deleted
• Original reference 7 → not found in the text, only in the listed references → moved to "Other sources"
• Original reference 8 → revised to <ref></ref> 5
• Original reference 9 → revised to <ref></ref> 6
