Starting

I added a few remarkable facts (from memory). Rm that Einstein won Noble Prize (almost all physicists from Planck on did this). Commented out uncertainty principle (is an almost trivial result from Schroedinger equation plus Copenhagen interpretation). When I have Pais' Inward Bound at my disposal again, I will probably do a few more changes.--Paul Wormer 17:47, 1 April 2008 (CDT)

Good job. Chris Day 17:59, 1 April 2008 (CDT)
I thought it was someone else (Pauli, maybe?) who proved the the wave formulation and the matrix formulation were identical? Will check after dinner... J. Noel Chiappa 18:28, 1 April 2008 (CDT)

Experiment and theory

OK, here's a different timeline question: I started to add some key events, and I suddenly realized I was adding 'theory' items to a timeline labelled 'experiments'. So, should we unify both in one timeline (which I favour, because in real life each responds to the other), or have separate timelines? J. Noel Chiappa 18:25, 1 April 2008 (CDT)

The only reason it is experiments is because because that is what was originally in the article before i stripped it out. You could have a unified timeline here and a more specific one on a subsubpage such as; Quantum mechanics/Timelines/Experiments. The template is set up to accommodate such a hierarchy.
