I found the original of the map on http://www.knockatallon.com/map.htm
I see no particular evidence that it is in the public domain. Can you comment please? --Larry Sanger 10:20, 18 September 2007 (CDT)
- This is easy peasy to fix. I'm almost positive the Sliabh Beagh Tourism Centre will permit usage if asked and offered a credit line. I'd rather find a free replacement, however, although that may not be feasible for one Irish county. —Stephen Ewen (Talk) 20:16, 18 September 2007 (CDT)
I'd be surprised if we couldn't find at least one free map for each county... --Larry Sanger 20:25, 18 September 2007 (CDT)
- I'm looking, government sources right now. The ones so far are all covered by Ireland's "Government and Oireachtas Copyright". That's in their "Copyright and Related Rights Act, 2000" (205 pages!), "Chapter 19 - Government and Oireachtas Copyright". It does not take a lawyer to conclude that it don't mean public domain. :-) —Stephen Ewen (Talk) 20:49, 18 September 2007 (CDT)
